What is a protein bar?
A protein bar is a compact snack, usually in bar form, designed to provide a significant amount of protein, often higher than that of regular bars.
Our Cetofine protein bars are made from milk and soy proteins; with few carbohydrates, thus fitting within our high-protein diets.
Cétofine 21 high-protein bars are offered in different delicious flavors: chocolate and orange, chocolate and coconut, chocolate and pear, cereal and red berries, or cereal and chocolate. We also offer you the choice among your favorite flavors to create your box of 7 protein cereal bars.
Importance of protein in the diet
Proteins play a fundamental role in the construction, repair and maintenance of muscle tissue. They also participate in the production of enzymes, hormones and the proper functioning of the immune system. Adequate protein intake is therefore crucial for overall health, athletic performance and weight management.
Consuming protein bars to lose weight
High-protein bars meet the requirements of the high-protein diet. The high-protein diet involves modifying your eating habits to promote rapid, effective weight loss targeted solely at fat mass. To achieve this, you will eliminate almost all carbohydrates and fats from your diet. This way, you regulate your caloric intake and your body draws its resources from your fat stores. Thus, the high-protein diet ensures the proper functioning of your metabolism while meeting your weight loss goals.
The first two phases of the high-protein diet are diets, a strict diet and a modified diet. During these two phases, you will radically change your eating habits. Goodbye to carbohydrates and fats. Starting from the third phase, the transition phase, you will be able to reintroduce certain foods into your diet, such as foods containing slightly more carbohydrates.
The low-calorie protein bar still contains carbohydrates in small amounts. This is why we recommend consuming them only from phase 3 of the diet, the transition phase. During this phase, we will encourage you to consume protein snacks between meals. These protein snacks will allow you to avoid snacking between meals and thus control your caloric intake. From phase 3 onwards, protein snacks can be high-protein bars or protein biscuits. These are indulgent snacks containing enough protein to provide you with a feeling of satiety.
It is therefore recommended to consume a weight loss protein bar for a snack at 10 a.m. or at 5 p.m. However, please note that protein bars, as part of the Cétofine 21 high-protein diet, are not intended to replace a meal. They serve as a high-protein snack or protein treat.
Why choose a Cetofine protein bar?
Protein bars are convenient nutritional products that can be taken anywhere.
They are consumed at breakfast, as a quick meal, as a snack, or after exercise to replenish glycogen stores and promote cellular regeneration.
At Cétofine, our bars provide between 8.7 g and 15 g of protein per serving, making them suitable both for a balanced snack and to support your weight loss or muscle maintenance goals.
