Stage 3: The Transition

Level 3 : The Transition combines a balanced breakfast with fruit and bread, Cétofine 21 high-protein sachets and dietary proteins. It follows level 2 with the aim of gradually reintroducing carbohydrates. You can finally enjoy all our snacks, biscuits and protein bars.

You stay on Level 3 until you have reached 90% of your weight loss goal. If your weight loss goal is 15 kg, you should stay at this Level until you have lost 13.5 kg. This step allows you to continue losing weight (about -0.5 kg per week) while returning to a balanced breakfast with dairy products, bread, and fruits. This level prepares your metabolism for a return to dietary balance.

Your Day in Phase 3

This weight loss program is based on a high-protein diet in Transition: Base 3 sachets / day for a woman; Base 4 sachets / day for a man.

Upon waking Drink a large glass of water on an empty stomach
Breakfast

Tea, coffee, water or other sugar-free drink
2 portions of protein + 1 portion of slow-release carbs + 1 portion of fast-release carbs
(Breakfast example: 1 0% yogurt + a glass of milk + 30g whole wheat bread + an apple)

For 5pm snack

Tea, coffee, water or other sugar-free drink
1 protein sachet or protein snack
(For example: 1 chocolate dessert or 1 Cookie Cream bar or 1 pack of Chocolate biscuits)

At lunch

Tea, coffee, water or other sugar-free drink
1 portion of dietary proteins + 1 portion of allowed vegetables
(Lunch example: 200g of white fish with broccoli or a 5% fat ground beef steak with green beans)

For 10am snack

Tea, coffee, water or other sugar-free drink + 1 high-protein sachet
(For example: 1 banana chocolate crepe or 1 protein sachet of chocolate hazelnut dessert)

At dinner

Tea, coffee, water or other sugar-free drink
1 high-protein sachet + 1 portion of allowed vegetables
(Dinner example: 1 protein sachet of mushroom omelet with 100g of carrot puree and spinach or a large salad with a protein sachet of red fruit yogurt for dessert)

For 10pm snack for men only

Tea, herbal tea, water or other sugar-free drink + 1 high-protein sachet
(For example: 1 caramel flan or 1 protein sachet of strawberry dessert)

You can switch the snacks if you wish.
To follow Stage 3 of the high-protein diet, we recommend women order 3 boxes per week: 2 sweet boxes and 1 savory box. For men, we recommend ordering 4 boxes per week: 3 sweet boxes and 1 savory box.

Allowed foods during the transition phase of the weight loss diet

In Stage 3, your day will start with a balanced breakfast. Bread, fruits, and dairy products will be your new allies. This way, we get closer to a balanced diet by learning good nutritional habits.

You can finally enjoy our snacks such as protein bars, cookies, or wafers. Just make sure not to exceed more than one snack per day.

Finally, new vegetables join your list of allowed vegetables to vary your recipes. You can now include carrots or corn, for example.

Composing a balanced breakfast

The first meal of the day is often described as the most important. Composed of all macronutrients, it will launch you energetically into your day. 

During Phase 3 of the Cétofine 21 protein diet, you will need to compose your breakfast with proteins, slow carbs, fast carbs and a beverage. You will thus compose your breakfast with two portions of protein, one portion of slow carbs and one portion of fast carbs.

2 portions of protein
  • 1 yogurt at 0% fat
  • 1 slice of ham
  • 1 egg
  • 1 glass of skim milk
  • 30g of cheese

  • 125 ml of fresh fruit juice without added sugar
  • 1 apple

  • 1 pear

In Stage 3, you can replace one of your protein sachet snacks with a protein-rich snack. You will have a choice among many products: protein bars, protein cookies, wafers...

Allowed vegetables during phase 3 of the high-protein diet

Vegetables are always very important during the protein diet to maintain good digestive health. Moreover, they provide vitamins and minerals throughout the weight loss process. Not all vegetables are allowed for a very simple reason: they contain sugars. Thus, we select vegetables based on their nutritional values.
In Phase 3, vegetable groups 1 and 2 are unlimited and group 3 makes its appearance:

  • Group 1 and 2 (vegetables to be consumed freely, but without excess, approximately one plate per meal): Asparagus, mushrooms, green cabbage raw or cooked, Romanesco cabbage cooked, cauliflower raw or cooked, broccoli, cooked celery stalk, cucumber, spinach raw or cooked, cooked leek, chard raw or cooked, radishes, salads, watercress, gherkin, green pepper, cooked artichoke, cooked zucchini, white cabbage raw or cooked, celeriac, eggplant, bean sprouts, endive raw or cooked, red cabbage, green beans, yellow pepper, red pepper, tomato, cooked Brussels sprouts, turnip, cooked spaghetti squash, butternut, pumpkin, kale raw or cooked.
  • Group 3 (100g / meal; 3 to 5 times per week): carrots, beets, corn, hearts of palm.

After Phase 3 of the Cétofine 21 high-protein diet

When you have reached 90% of your weight loss goal, you begin Stage 4. This way, you will reintroduce starches at lunch. In any case, the weight loss program must not be interrupted or stopped abruptly. Stopping the diet abruptly without following Stage 4 will lead to weight regain.

You can stay in Stage 3 until you have reached 90% of your weight loss goal. If your initial goal is to lose 15 kg, you will need to move to Stage 4 when you have lost 13.5 kg.
